Introducing “I See Agile People”

I was first introduced to agile methods and frameworks back in 2001 as a software developer. We were experimenting with Extreme Programming (XP). And in 2008, I learned about Scrum earning my Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification. As I continued to grow my craft as a scrum master and agile coach, I started to see agile all around me. I would see people being “Agile” naturally.

The phrase “I see dead people” came from M. Night Shyamalan’s movie Sixth Sense. This is a story of a boy who sees and has conversations with the dead. Playing with this phrase but not tapping into the supernatural, I want to create a theme for our blog of “I See Agile People.”

The focus of our writings in this category is around just that: Where in the world do you see people being agile or working in agile ways (outside of your agile teams)? Erin and I will contribute periodically to this theme or category sharing our observations in our respective worlds.
